Rae White is a queer non-binary transgender writer, and author of poetry collections Milk Teeth and Exactly As I Am, and the picture book All the Colours of the Rainbow, with illustrations by Sha’an d’Anthes. They are the winner of the Thomas Shapcott Poetry Prize, and have been shortlisted for the Prime Minister’s Literary Awards, Queensland Literary Awards, and Victorian Premier's Literary Awards.

Rae’s Bitsy poem-game stand up won the 2022 Woollahra Digital Literary Award for Digital Innovation, was featured in the Pride at Play exhibition 2023, was awarded an Honourable Mention in the 2024 Freeplay Awards, and was shortlisted in the 2023 Naarm/Melbourne Queer Games Festival Awards. Rae’s Bitsy game queer picnic was shortlisted for the 2024 Naarm/Melbourne Queer Games Festival Awards.

Rae is the Creative Director and Founder of Uplift Poetry, a community poetry initiative; the Founding Editor of #EnbyLife, a journal for non-binary and gender diverse creatives; and a co-host on the 4ZZZ radio show Tranzmission.
